Equal opportunities

In the framework of company policies, there is a principle of equal opportunities to prevent discrimination due to birthplace, race, gender, religion, opinions or any other personal or social condition or circumstance.

The Equal Opportunity Plan in force is the second one created by B:SM that is addressed to the entire organisation. The actions detailed in the Equality Plan are developed in the scope of employee training, the selection of candidates, the equal remuneration policy, the use of non-sexist language and no tolerance of harassment. In this regard, B:SM continuously monitors compliance and development of the measures set out in the Equality Plan. At the end of 2015, this plan was about 20% developed.


At present, of the average employee staff, 35% are women, with an average age of 42.55, almost four years younger than the men’s age. At B:SM we continue working on gender issues, a fact that is shown in the progressive hiring of women to the staff. In new hires, the percentage of women is around 46%.
